Region Sees Steady Climb in Diverse Populations

Diverse individuals accounted for more than 28% of Northwest Arkansas’ population in 2019, according to a new research report from the Northwest Arkansas Council. The report, entitled Engage the Future: A Look at the Growing Diversity in Northwest Arkansas, documents the region’s diverse population growth over the last 10 years, provides comparative analysis with several peer regions and highlights the racial and ethnic diversity in the region’s school districts.

Council Launches Music Ecosystem Strategy and Action Plan

Northwest Arkansas’ music ecosystem produces a $389 million economic output and is responsible for 3,972 jobs in the region, according to new research from the Northwest Arkansas Council. The Council commissioned the study to understand the economic impact of Northwest Arkansas’ music industry and how it can help drive the region’s economy and improve livability.
