Walk-ins will be accepted for first, second and third (booster) doses. Those coming in for a second Pfizer dose must ensure they have waited at least three weeks (21 days) between the first and second dose. Severely immunocompromised individuals are currently eligible to receive a third dose (or booster) at least 28 days after their second Pfizer dose.
The following are eligible to receive a booster at least six (6) months after their second Pfizer dose
Individuals 65 and up.
Individuals 18 through 64 years of age with underlying medical conditions that place them at higher risk for severe COVID-19.
Individuals 18 through 64 years of age whose frequent institutional or occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2 puts them at high risk of serious complications of COVID-19 including severe COVID-19.
Please note individuals that received Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines are not eligible for booster shots at this time.
Minors ages 12 and above attending the clinic will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to get a vaccine.

Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) is proud to offer Veterans, their spouses, and their caregivers the COVID-19 vaccine. VHSO offers both the Moderna and Janssen vaccine.
No appointment will be necessary for Veterans, spouses, or caregivers getting the vaccine and Veterans, spouses, and caregivers will receive the vaccine from the comfort of their car.
If a Veteran has served in the military but is not currently enrolled, the VHSO eligibility team will be happy to assist them to see if they qualify to be enrolled. Individuals will receive an automatic appointment to get the second dose of the Moderna vaccine.
UAMS offers a free drive-thru vaccine and testing clinic Monday-Friday. Appointments are preferred, but are not necessary. COVID-19 testing is available from 10am – 5:45pm. Pfizer for individuals 12 years and older is available during all hours of operation.
Pfizer for individuals 5-11 years old is available from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
Moderna is available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Johnson and Johnson is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are available for Pfizer and Moderna vaccine recipients who completed their initial series at least 6 months ago, and Johnson and Johnson vaccine recipients who completed their initial series two months ago, and who are:
65 years and older
18 years and older with underlying medical conditions or those who work or live in high-risk settings
COVID-19 vaccines are provided at no charge. There is no out-of-pocket cost to receive the vaccine. If you have insurance, we will bill your insurance. Please bring a photo ID and an insurance card if you have them.
You don't have to be a UAMS patient to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at the clinic. It is open to all Arkansans age 12 and older.
Patients under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the vaccine appointment. If a parent or guardian cannot be at the vaccine clinic with the minor, they may print and sign the COVID-19 Vaccine Acknowledgement Form Opens in new tab and send it with the minor to the vaccine clinic.
