The Bella Vista Fire Department will host a clinic to administer a third dose of the Pfizer vaccine to those eligible.
According to the FDA, those eligible at this time include "certain immunocompromised individuals, specifically, solid organ transplant recipients or those who are diagnosed with conditions that are considered to have an equivalent level of immunocompromise," as well as "close contacts of immunocompromised persons ... as appropriate for their health status, to provide increased protection to their loved ones."
First and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will also be available. Second doses must be administered at least 21 days after the first dose. Third doses must be administered at least 28 days after the second dose. Anyone who has recently tested positive for COVID-19 should consult their doctor, and should wait at least 14 days after the resolution of symptoms for any vaccine dose.
Eligibility for the first, second or third shot applies to anyone over the age of 12. Parental consent and physical presence is required for anyone under the age of 18. To avoid crowded lines and long wait times, a sign up is necessary at the link below. Please bring your vaccination record card for second or third doses. Social distancing and masks will be required inside the building.
