Two state agencies and a state commission this month recognized Rockline Industries of Springdale, Cargill Feed Mill in Springdale and Pinnacle Foods Corporation of Fayetteville for long periods without any work-related injuries.

Employees at Rockline Industries, which makes branded and private label wet wipes at its plant at 1583 E. Mountain Road, received the Two Million Work Hours Safety Award. The Arkansas Department of Labor, the Arkansas Insurance Department and the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission presented the award at a ceremony on Aug. 21 at the Rockline plant.

Pinnacle Foods was recognized on the same day with the Two Million Work Hours Safety Award at a ceremony in Fayetteville. The company has about 500 employees and they accumulated the work hours without an injury between May 2010 and May 2012. The Pinnacle Foods facility is located at 100 W. 15th St.

Cargill received a Twenty-eight Year Accumulative Safety Award. The feed mill’s 30 employees went 28 years between February 1984 and July 2012 without a lost day away from work due to a work-related injury or work-related illness, according to Arkansas Department of Labor Director James Salkeld. An award ceremony was held Aug. 8 at the feed mill, which is located at 2201 Long St.
