Startups to Reveal Results on ARK Challenge Demo Day

The successes of the start-up companies that took part in the first ARK Challenge will be shared on Thursday during Demo Day at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

Demo Day for the ARK Challenge, which brought teams representing 15 technology-based startups to Northwest Arkansas to advance the development of their companies, will show what the teams have accomplished during the mentor-driven program.

During the 14-week boot camp, the startups worked to further the development of their technology-based startups. The startups addressed challenges  faced by retail, food processing and logistics companies.

The startup taking part in the first ARK Challenge included Agricultural Food Systems, Btiques, CayMay Education, Earn and Plan, EpicPledge, Farmeto, Mass Vector, MineWhat, Refurri, SavvySync, Sooligan, SpareTime, StackSearch, Streamix and Truckily.

Long-established startup accelerators in other parts of the U.S. are known for their important roles in the development of well-known tech companies. Y Combinator in California, for example, advanced the development of companies such as Dropbox, Hipmunk, Bump and Reddit.

The ARK Challenge is part of the Global Accelerator Network, independently owned, high-quality accelerator programs.

Special thanks to our major investors for their support of the Northwest Arkansas Council and our work in the region:
