Arkansas recently was recognized in a national publication for how easy it is to start a business.
The Natural State joined Idaho, Oklahoma and Utah as the only states to receive A-plus ratings for the state’s efforts in making it easy to start a business and make it successful, according to Entrepreneur magazine.
The rating was based on a survey of 6,000 small-business owners. The Ewing Kauffman Foundation and Thumbtack.com conducted the survey.
Arkansas in the past several months has been recognized for its efforts in the areas of business development, startups and entrepreneurship. Fast Company magazine, for example, recognized Northwest Arkansas in August as one of the nation’s top 10 “innovation hotbeds.”
