Organizers of GiveCampNWA announced that they’ve selected 10 nonprofit organizations that will benefit from this weekend’s event in Rogers.
Developers from some of the region’s largest employers, including Walmart, Tyson Foods and J.B. Hunt Transport Services, as well as representatives of the region’s rising entrepreneurial companies will donate their time from Friday through Sunday to assist the 10 nonprofit organizations with technology-focused improvements.
This weekend’s volunteers will do such things as develop websites for the organizations and help them better employ technology in the services they provide.
The 10 nonprofits selected to benefit from this year’s GiveCampNWA are the Cisneros Center for New Americans, One Community, Rosco P. Coal Train’s Community Outreach, the Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese, Yvonne Richardson Community Center, Camp Alliance Inc., Marshallese Educational Initiative, Western Arkansas Ballet, Arkansas Counseling Association and Soldier on Service Dogs.
