Six of the top 10 high schools in the state are located in Northwest Arkansas, a new ranking published by U.S. News and World Report shows.

The three best high schools in Arkansas are Fayetteville’s Haas Hall Academy, Bentonville High School and Rogers High School, the report shows.

Other high schools in Benton and Washington counties ranked near the top are Rogers Heritage (No. 5), Benton County School of the Arts in Rogers (No. 6), Prairie Grove (No. 9) and Siloam Springs (No. 20).

U.S. News and World Report in its coverage of high schools noted that the nation’s graduation rate is higher than ever and that a high school diploma “has become vital to career and financial success.”
