Scheduled for October 7 at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers, the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce and the Northwest Arkansas Technology Council will be putting on the event for the third time.

More than 50 speakers are scheduled to participate in the all-day event.

Other Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit speakers include John Cohn, IBM’s self-proclaimed “mad scientist”; Rita Carney, a vice president of innovation at Walmart Stores; Sam Dean, executive director of Scott Family Amazeum; Bill Akins, a senior vice president of business innovation at Rockfish; and Mo Gomes, vice president at Gartner Executive Programs.

The full lineup includes business technology leaders from Walmart, Sam’s Club, IBM, Oracle, SAP, Roku, Intel, Digimarc, AT&T, Teradata and Samsung.

Representatives of Arkansas startups such as RevUnit, Lauren James, Menguin, Acorn and Junk Brands will discuss how technology has played a role in their success.
