Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) is proud to offer Veterans, their spouses, and their caregivers the COVID-19 vaccine. VHSO offers both the Moderna and Janssen vaccine.
No appointment will be necessary for Veterans, spouses, or caregivers getting the vaccine and Veterans, spouses, and caregivers will receive the vaccine from the comfort of their car.
If a Veteran has served in the military but is not currently enrolled, the VHSO eligibility team will be happy to assist them to see if they qualify to be enrolled. Individuals will receive an automatic appointment to get the second dose of the Moderna vaccine.

 First doses are for anyone over the age of 12 for Pfizer or 18 for J&J who is currently unvaccinated.
Seconddoses (Pfizer only) must be administered at least 21 days after the first dose.
•  Third doses (Pfizer only) for those who are immunocompromised and must be administered at least 28 days after the second dose.
•  Booster shots are for other eligible individuals who have been fully vaccinated (Pfizer only) for at least 6 months (SINCE APRIL 6, 2021 or before).
