Forbes magazine on Wednesday named Northwest Arkansas among its Best Places For Business and Careers.
Among 200 metropolitan areas Northwest Arkansas ranked 19th overall. Northwest Arkansas (the Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers Metropolitan Statistical Area) was one of only two regions with fewer than 500,000 residents to finish in the top 20 on the Forbes list. The other was Asheville, N.C. (17th).
Forbes reported the nation’s top three places for business and careers are Provo, Utah; Raleigh, N.C.; and Fort Collins, Colo.
