Nine teams with technology solutions for retail, logistics and food companies will show off what they’ve learned at Demo Day on Thursday.
Called The ARK Challenge, Demo Day at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art comes at the end of the 14-week entrepreneurial boot camp. Each team will give eight-minute investment pitches and then have opportunities for networking with business people and potential investors.
The nine teams making presentations will be Langhar, Passenger Baggage Xpress, WeGreek, PressBaby, Visualogistic Technologies, Overwatch, Info Assembly, Gamerius and Craftistas.
Each of those teams received seed funding when they agreed to participate in the ARK Challenge. Two teams selected on Thursday will be eligible for $150,000 in additional capital investment.
The ARK Challenge’s first 14-week boot camp was held last year. Last year’s teams selected for additional funding — MineWhat, Btiques and StackSearch — continue to operate in Northwest Arkansas.
After Thursday, the Challenge will have accelerated the development of 24 companies.
