Tickets are still available for NWA Fashion Week, one of the unique regional events on the Northwest Arkansas calendar that expects to provide about $60,000 to local nonprofit organizations.
First held in 2012, NWA Fashion Week’s series of events kick off today, but the main runway events are Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night in Bentonville.
Tickets are still available to the Thursday and Friday night shows, costing $75 or $150 per person. Ticket information and information about the week can be found at www.nwafw.com
NWA Fashion Week, which drew about 700 attendees last year and is on pace to have about 1,000 attendees this year, raises awareness and financial support for 11 local nonprofit organizations.
The week also draws attention to fashion designers, artists and local businesses involved in the activities.
Attendees can pick which of the 11 nonprofit organizations they’d like to see their admission fee go to support. The options are Restore Humanity, Youth Strategies, Spay Arkansas, Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, The Miller McNell Woodruff Foundation, Art Amiss, Junior League of Northwest Arkansas, Teen Action and Support Center, Ozark Guidance, Seven Hills Homeless Shelter and the Single Parent Scholarship of Northwest Arkansas.
Thursday night’s pre-party kicks off at 7 p.m. at 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville. The designer runway show starts at 8:30 p.m.
Friday and Saturday events begin with pre-parties at 7 p.m. at the old Daily Record building. The boutique runway shows start at 8:30 p.m. both nights.
